  • The best hair conditioner I have used so far. It has all the good features one can ever want in a hair conditioner. It is light and does not weigh down hair. Also It makes hair shiny, soft, improves elasticity, and has a cooling effect which makes it ideal for Indian summers. I saw my hair quality improve with a few washes and started using it in alternate washes because it repairs instead of creating dependency like other contemporary international brands do and you feel lesser the need to apply it regularly.

  • I bought this conditioner along with just herbs shampoo. For the first time when I used it, my hair texture became rougher. I felt very bad about buying it. At that time I want to give the worst review. But I used it next time with more quantity (as I am having a little longer hair), this time it did its job. Now, I decided to continue using it because just herbs products are natural and they are free of harsh chemicals which will prevent long term damage to hair.

WORTH THE MONEY

  • I have been using this for last six months. It is a mild conditioner. Won’t give the immediate shine to your hairs but yes, keeps them soft and silky up to the next hair wash. Also, its costly but works amazingly and makes hair frizz free.

2. TYPE 2

chemical free hair conditioner in india
  • In this type the conditioners have only mentioned only 10-20 percent of their ingredients in the pack.
  • These include hair conditioners from Lever Ayush and Patanjali.
  • These are just trying to fool their customers using over smart marketing gimmicks.
  • At least the hair conditioner from category 4 mentioned later are frank about their ingredients.
  • Patanjali claims that their conditioner as Ayurvedic proprietary medicine but they mentioned only 10 percent of the natural herbs on the conditioner. It also contain urea, artificial colour and fragrance.
  • Although, lever ayush conditioner has mentioned the 3 preservatives used in it which are very harmful like DMDM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone.

COMMON INGREDIENTS:

  • DMDM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone, Fragrances, preservatives and rest are hidden.

OUR OPINION:

  • Do not mention the complete list of ingredients.
  • Only mentioned 10-20 percent of the ingredients on the bottle.
  • They have some harmful chemicals.
  • Not reliable.

WOW Conditioner

  • Only issue is some harmful chemicals content without measurement % of it. Its contains Primarily used in hair care products such as conditioner, dye and mousse. Behentrimonium chloride is a toxic compound, and concentrations of .1% and higher have been shown to damage the eyes by causing tissue death of the mucous membranes. Don’t confuse it with behentrimonium methosulfate, which is perfectly safe

4. TYPE 4

  • These include hair conditioners from Dr Batra’s, Park Avenue Beer conditioner, dove, pantene, TRESemme, sunsilk, which have 8-10 harsh chemicals in them.
  • It is so disappointing that these conditioners are most commonly used by Indians.
  • So called herbal conditioner from Himalaya, GARNIER, MATRIX fall in this type.
  • If you do not believe this, then go check their ingredient list. You will find them full of harsh chlorides, sulphate(sulfate), silicones, parabens, synthetic colours and artificial fragrance.
  • In long run these conditioners might do more harm to you than good.

COMMON INGREDIENTS:

  • Disodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone,  Behentrimonium chloride, Sodium Sulfate, Methylisothiazolinone, Urea, Benzyl Salicylate, Perfumes, Artificial color and Fragrances
